A platform for NHS Trust collaboration

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) is being used across the NHS as a platform for collaboration and custom applications - and the potential is huge.

Following a MOSS workshop on 20th April 2009, attended by over 40 NHS organisations, we will shortly be able to share the presentations and case study information, presented at that meeting, to a wider audience.

The case studies include:

- A unified platform for Intranet and Internet
- Managing documents and records securely e.g. Trust Policies, HR 
- Electronic discharge summaries delivered to GPs to meet the NHS standard contract
- Search and access to mental health records across multiple sites
