Press Release: WCI secures 4th Microsoft Gold Competency

Today WCI announced that it has been awarded its fourth Microsoft Competency, in Information Worker.

The win makes WCI one of only a few Microsoft Business Solutions partners in the UK with four Gold Competencies.  The others are in Advanced Infrastructure, Security Solutions, and Microsoft Business Solutions.

"We're delighted to add Information Worker to our portfolio," says Dave Alberts, WCI's Director of Microsoft Solutions Group.  "The Information Worker competency has been set up to connect organisations and enable people to share information in a collaborative way.  It is going to be the cornerstone of many solutions for our clients, particularly in construction, who work in multi-site environments with a network of remote and temporary workers, regulatory bodies, partners and contractors.  The innovative ways we help them to share data and work collaboratively is critical to their profits and performance.  Information Worker technology has a huge role to play in underpinning this."

Karl Noakes, Director of the Partner Development Group at Microsoft, said: "Congratulations to everyone at WCI on this achievement. Partners are at the heart of everything we do here at Microsoft and to see one thriving and growing like this demonstrates the success of our partner programme over the years."
